Over the years, I have learned that be fully equipped, no matter what I am doing, makes all the difference.  The construction worker does not go to work without his hard hat and the accountant does not do your taxes without his calculator. Much like the aforementioned personnel, when heading into the great outdoors for a hunt, I want to be prepared for all possible scenarios. I know first-hand that the right gear can make all the difference.  When I am chasing a wary old buck and the stakes are high, I must have the gear to get the job done. Here is a list of some of my most essential items to pack in your gear to ensure comfort, safety, and success on your hunt.

• SWAP Replace-A-Blade Knife and extra blades- This knife is a must have when heading out on your next adventure.  It is lightweight but strong and durable.  I love a good folding knife with a lock back blade.  The best part is you can easily switch out a new blade when the old one gets dull. From bucks to turkeys, I have dressed and skinned them all.  You do not want to leave home without the SWAP in your pack!
